During the morning of August 28, 2012 starting at approximately 02:34 PDT, an excessive amount of high PPS UDP traffic was directed at our Secondary DNS service for several hours. In response we activated remote triggered blackholes with our transit providers for the impacted IPv4 addresses. During this time we monitored our netflow data in an attempt to minimize disruptions to Secondary DNS. Only IPv4 was impacted, queries over IPv6 were uninterrupted. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Roundcube Webmail Notifications

To take advantage of desktop notifications you’ll want to enable the “display desktop notifications on new message” option and your browser must support HTML5 notifications.

.ORG Price Increase
As of July 1, 2012 the Public Interest Registry (PIR), the operator of the .org top-level domain, has increased the registry cost for .org registrations by $0.49. As such, we have increased our registration price for .org domains from $11.50 to $11.99.
Primary DNS Update
We’re not going to be releasing the updated Primary DNS service in June as previously anticipated. Since the control center interface for it is being rebuilt from scratch we decided it was the best time to add a templating feature, which has been requested often in the past. This will make Primary DNS a bit more than the basic thing it’s been in the past, but hopefully worth the wait.
